Rush or Jackpot
I'm in the market for new slip-on's to replace my stock pipes on my 09. I think I've come down to two manufactures, Rush or Jackpot. I spoke with Keith today at FuelMoto and they stock both and are both around the same price (299.00).
I have not heard either pipes and am looking for some input from you all that may have either of these installed on your bike. I need your recommendations. I want my Harley to sound like a Harley!
Thanks!

I had rush on my 07 street glide and I have jackpots on my 09 ultra. The sound of the jackpots dyno tuned version is a little deeper than the rush with 2 inch baffles was, if I needed another set I'd buy the jackpots dyno tuned again but you won't go wrong with either choice.
I have Rush mufflers with FM's custom (asymmetrical) baffles, which are functionally identical to Jackpots. I originally bought these with 1.75" stock Rush baffles so I can speak first-hand about each setup. I ran both with FM's Stage 1 kit, which included an AC and PCIII with their custom map installed.
The original Rush baffles sounded okay, but had a raspy bark at roll-on which I never found pleasing. I might equate it to stock mufflers that had been punched out. They were also louder than I preferred, just on the wrong side of making my ears ring after a long ride and making it a strain to hear the stereo. I had obtained a new set of baffling material to repack them when I received the FM baffles.
The FM baffles not only made a noticeable difference in performance, both low-end TQ and peak HP that breathed new life into the bike, but put the sound exactly where I wanted it. These are actually quieter than the 1.75's, mostly due to the superior packing material used, and no longer have that bark I found irritating. The sound is perfect: deep and throaty without giving me a headache or causing strain to hear the stereo. To me a good sound doesn't need to be simply loud, but a quality factor must exist--and although volume went down, quality took a big leap upward IMO.
I would never go back to the original Rush setup, or Jackpots with standard symmetrical baffles. The key is FM's custom baffles, which make this a perfect package for my taste.

2nd this. I had Rush 2.0 with exchangeable tips on my 07. Got the Rush Slash Up 2.0 on my 09 and love 'em. I had the SE Racer Tuner and Stage 1 installed when I put the exhaust on. I love the sound, so does my wife. I can still hear the sterio just fine. I'm sure the Jackpots are good but I love the Rush.

I can hear the radio fine without turning it up until the music distorts up to about 65 mph, once I get over 70 mph I have to turn the volume way up but I can still hear it. The Ms. starts having a little trouble hearing it on the interstate running 75-80 but other than that it's good. I have changed my fairing speakers to infinity 52.9i which did help a little, the rear speakers are stock because with a passenger they are pretty much muffled no matter what speakers you have, they point right into the passengers thighs.
I have the Jackpot Dyno tuned and like them. My .02 is that the jackpots are better quality and the Rush have a more recognized name. As to loudness, the Jackpots are a little loud, but I have not upgraded my bike with Hogtunes.
