Thanks for all of the info, I appreciate it.

Do any of you guys have pics of the MCHITCH before & after install. My concern is my mudflap. I don't want to move it or lose it.

DJ, why are concerned about the tonque weight rating? No matter what you are pulling, your trailer should be well balanced with a max of 20-25 lbs tongue weight.

Too little tongue weight, and your trailer will sway--too much, and your suspension will suffer.

I got mine from WWW.N-LINE.COM, who also sale the in line one wheel trailers. My hitch is a receiver style, chrome plated, cost $325 shipped.(receiver, pin and ball not included) They also offer a black powder coated versions for about $50 less but I think the chrome version looks much better. I personally think it is the nicest looking hitch on the market for the Ultras. Looks really nice when the hitch is not in it, which is the way it is 99% of the time. PACO

I had a hitchdoc on mine just sold it, I dont use a trailer any more. I loved it. No rattaling and the hitch came right off when I didnt want it showing.

I think the MC Hitch is the way to go. It looks like the mudflap would still work with the receiver removed. Does good on the ankles too. The only bad is if you do not remove without the trailer it will rattle.

I found a hitch that I'm going to get down the road. It is completely enclosed on the inside of the fender and has a removable reciever, so when you take the reciever out you can't tell the bike has a hitch. It built by www.wikco.com.

+2 on the Bushtec. a real high quality hitch, and the ability to easily remove the stinger and ball is a big plus. Bushtec also sells a mudflap that fits this hitch.
