+1 for Fuel Moto stage 1 upgrade. I have it on my 08 Ultra and I love it. I agree with Iclick, it is the best bang for the buck. The Jackpots are not overly loud like others, but I can still hear them at highway speeds, even with the stereo going full tilt.
+1 on the Jackpot Dyno Tuned.
I have the Jackpots, to me, they are perfect. Like others have said, nice sound, but not obnoxious. Low rumble, could sneak out of the neighborhood yet could get someones attention with a twist of the throttle. I am really impressed with them.
As for design and finish. I was a little surprised at how little restriction (baffling) there was, and initially thought they would be too loud. The chrome and finish look great. Almost as heavy as the stock pipes, but not quite.
The guys at Fuel Moto are great to deal with. All the research they have put into their package makes it a no brainer.
09 Street Glider thanks for posting the pics of the slash ups. I was thinking about going with those on my 09 Street Glide but when I was in the shop talking to Jamie at Fuel Motto yesterday he didn't have a bike there with bags that I could look at that had slash ups. Looks good. How much better does the Hog Tunes sound over the stock speakers?
How much better does the Hog Tunes sound over the stock speakers?
IMHO there is no comparison. 10 times better, especially when listening to CD or MP3. I have no amp and only the 2 front speakers and don't feel the need to add anything else. I'm sure there may be better out there, but for the money I think you'll have a hard time justifying what you get over Hogtunes.
I just installed the Rush 1.75's to replace my Rineharts. The fit and finish is excellent. The sound is a nice lower rumble compared to the Rineharts, but still plenty loud. Can't attest to the other two, but Rush is good option in that there are 5 different baffle options for sound, and about 20 different tip options for looks.
Ok since you had Rineharts and now Rush would you say the Rush have that low "thump thump" sound that the Rineharts have?? Kinda reminds me of a bass drum kick.
+ 1 for Fuel Moto Jackpots. i ride with several Rienhart equip bikes and when we get a crowds opinion most like the Jackpots. I am very satisfied with my set up.
