I'm looking for a passenger backrest for my 09' FLHX
I like the pad on the CVO Road Glide but don't like the docking hardware.
Any aftermarket docking hardware, bars and pads out there. Thanks, ***** G.
I wasn't able to find any and just went with the HD stuff. Was easier just paying at the dealer than hunting for months....wifey wouldn't have appreciated that.

Do you have the low bar and Street Glide pad?
4 point or 2 point hardware?
Without the accessories on I think the hardware takes away from the rear fender.
I got the 4-point hardware, mainly because I dont want to have to change it out later when other options make themselves obvious to me. I don't think it looks bad. They make covers for the docking points now also, might try those if I can get them cheaper than 40.00.
I also ended up getting the standard bar with the standard pad. They didnt have a glide pad anywhere near me and I needed it within a day (not about to pay overnight shipping). The short bar fits great with the stock seat, but we (the wife and I) want to put a Mustang Touring on later and were worried it would not be tall enough, so be sure to keep your seat selection in mind when buying the bar. If you only have a passenger once in a while and comfort is not an issue then just get the short one.
