High Idle
I recently purchased and installed the fuelmoto jackpot mufflers kit with the PCV. After install the bike idled high at about 1500-2000 rpm, does this happen ocassionally? Also I don't have a owners manual, as I recently purchased this used the dealer didn't have one for me. Any help would be great, thanks.
To add, as it idled high a light came on under the tach that looked like a tach itself.

Check the throttle stop on your throttle body, it's a set screw at about 3 o'clocl.. If it is loose it can cause high idle.. if it is loose you will be able to reach around the back of your throttle body and turn it by hand.. If it's not loose do not loosen it
The owner's manual won't do you a bit of good with your problem. It will just show you that your check light is what is now on. In other words you now have a code on your bike.
I don't know anything about the PCV, but if like the PCIII, did you zero the throttle? This needs to be done and the bike has to be at proper operating temps, not on a cold bike.
The reason the check light came on is because if the bike idles at (+ or - normal idle for a few minutes the check light will automatically come on.
I know I'm not much help, but I'll bump you back up.
Also, give Jamie a call and he will point you in the right direction.
