Will these Road King bags fit the mounts on an 08 Street Glide?

Leather bags on a Street Glide??? Wonder what that would look like?
All the mounts should be the same...I guess???

Dont see why not from what i understand they just changed the bags in 09.

Dont think the bags changed in 09. They moved back a bit on the frame and the support structure changed...but I think the hard bags are the same and interchangeable.

I know that the mounting set-up between my 07 ultra bags and a friends 03 road king are different. I am pretty sure that if you had the mounts that go with the bags on e-bay they would work fine. I am sure that it is not a big deal to change, but getting them in the auction would be pretty important, unless you want to price them through a dealer.

They'll fit but WHY?!! I put hard bags on my last Road King because the leather ones were a pain in the a$$ and the color-matched hard bags looked so much better. Sure they might hold a little more stuff but they sure don't look as good, IMHO of course.
