I never once said you aren't allowed free speech/free to ride what you want.... All I'm saying is Harley owners buy Harleys to belong to a class/life style where the owners of jap scrap don't have a right to belong to. I have the choice of spending $15,000.00 or 25,000.00, and if I choose $15,000.00 then I don't have the right to speak to the people who chose to spend $25,000.00. If I chose to spend $15,000.00 then I better be ready to stand on the side lines and admire from a didtance what I could have had for a measly $10,000.00 alng with all the comradery... I don`t want these `riders`who own jap scrap coming up to me saying `wow nice bike`... f u c k off, it`s a Harley and you were too chinsy to fork over the extra $10.000.00 to live a dream...
I have bought Harley's for the past 20 years or so because I always wanted one. My first, an iron headed Sportster, turned out to be far more reliable in the long run than any of my previously owned Honda's. For me it turned out to be a better bike. IMO Harley's are better, I prefer to work on them (and I work on all kinds) and they are just built better, compare the bracketry and hardware the next time you get a chance, oh that's right you don't wallow down there with jap scrap. I own, build and ride Harleys because I want to, I don't belong to a club and am happy to ride and party with other good folks, doesn't matter what they ride, matters what kind of person they are ......................get it?
Probably not.
All in good fun guys and gals.... Happy to see I raised some eye brows... It's Saturday, have a beer and relax, bring your blood pressure down a notch or two. Just trying to make good conversation and see where everyones head is at. Sorry if I offended anyone...(see that vein popping out of your forehead, better get it checked)
Back peddle all you want, you've shown your true value. Before you start askin' questions or pointin' fingers take a look at my sig. The FXR has been around for 23 years. There have been others including Harleys, Japs, Brits, & Krauts. The Road Glide is just the latest, & I bought it because it provided a type of ride I wanted at the time. If another manufacturer does the job in a way I approve of I'll buy one of theirs. I buy motorcycles based on the type of riding I want to do. I associate with bikers by the type of people they are, not what machine they ride. In over 40 years of ridin' I've dropped more clueless posers like you than I can remember. Won't be long till I've forgotten you too..........

All in good fun? Trying to make good conversation? Are you still in high school????
WHAT A MAJOR ASSHAT!!!!!! 45 years old and buys his first Harley..... turns into a COMPLETE MF'er in one year. Can't wait to see what a DIC* he is at 50! I'm glad there are jerkoff's like this in the world to show me the error of my ways. I will now get on the phone, and tell all my Metric riding brothers that some DIC*WEED from Canada says I can't hang with em anymore.
Hey Frankharley07.... at least I'm glad to see the Lobotomy took!
One more thing you PUSSBAG..... You haven't got a clue what brotherhood is all about. God willing, you will some day break down in my neck of the woods. YOUR FACE I WILL REMEMBER!
Jokeing or not,and I think not,In my 45 years of riding I have met people like this/you and there are many who thinks like this/you,you all are part of an elite group,World class A**holes!!!!!
Hey Airborne, well put. I'd be very, very surprised if ole FrankHarley 07 even owns a Harley. Probably really wants one, but will never, ever own one. That's why the long diatribe on superiority. We all need to just ignore this lame excuse for a thread..... It's certainly not worthy of our time, or effort. And yet here I am, yakking back at the lunatic.... Go figure. You gotta know the snow is on the ground or this one wouldn't get any action whatsoever....
just ride, having said that HD are very inexpensive to build. Where this 30k comes from I don't know.
i see many of the Youngsters (under 35) build there own bikes--it's quite amazing to see them get a frame (the most expensive part) with a salvaged title and go to work.
With all the swap meets, ebay, craigslist, etc. gathering parts is half the fun--then in a matter of months they have a bike that most times rival's those in dealer show rooms.
unfortunately i was born without mechanical skills and I am old; so I go to dealer and get mine.
IMHO it's not what you ride it's the passion to ride
