Bushtec should share their secret with the RV industry (and all other trailer manufacturers around the world) because the only trailer any of them make that has very littlewiggle is the fifth wheel.
Have you ever pulled a trailer with a motorcycle ? there is a big difference between an RV trailer and a motorcycle trailer, weight, length, height just to name a few. Most all trailers that have excessive "wiggle" have underlying problems, misaligned Axel's, crooked tongues etc.
I bought an 26' tow behind RV trailer from a guy once that was selling it because it had excessive "wiggle". he sold it to me for a very reasonable price because he could not stop the "wiggle and had it back to the RV dealer many times for this problem. Well when I towed it home, I could understand why he sold it so cheap it was all over the place. I found the problems with in an hour. the tongue was welded on crooked and the Axel's were over an inch off of alignment. I fixed these things and it towed just fine from then on.
Trailer can never look cool being towed by a HARLEY. Take the car on your next trip, tell her thats what vehicles are for. Packing all your junk in the trunk, bikes are for pleasure. Going out and enjoying your selves, not taking half the house with you. Next she will want to bring the toilet and the kitchen sink.
Yes I new that was coming too, but if I didn't ask I wouldn't have gotten all these great links and different opinions . Thanks everone for the come backs. mike

I have over 40,000 miles on my Motovation trailer. I have towed it behind my 2000 Sportster, 05 RG and 07 RG. In all those miles the only time I knew it was back there was 1. when I got too close to the gas pump island and 2. the one time I got a flat tire. I watch the tire pressure (bike and trailer) and check the trailer wheels and bearings. Out in the boonies I have ridden for miles and miles no-hands while the trailer just sits back there and goes where the bike goes.
It is not cool. It is a sign you have too much you can't live without while out on the road.
I'm retired and in the summer may be on the road 2-3 weeks out of a month. When I take the trailer there is nothing lashed to the bike.
Not much of a camper so when I stop at some motel along the way all I do is grab a roll bag with the overnight stuff,
lock everything up and that's it!
