Your Harley kickstand has a spring mounted lock. For instance, while your bike is on the it's factory stand, you can push it forward, and the stand stays. You HAVE to releive pressure from the stand in order for it to come up. On the center stand, if it moves forward, the stand goes up...bike falls. So, I would only use it on level ground.

Also, if you are interested, I don't know what bike you are trying to put this on but, I have a chrome display stand I bought on ebay, and got home, doesn't fit with oil cooler. So, I bought one of those that goes on the rear of the bike. So, if you need a chrom display stand, cheap, let me know. However, I would only use it in the garage for cleaning, oilchanges, and pictures!

P.S. The Ozarks rock the house. planning a trip up there in a few months, maybe in April or May. I like AR7, and Mountain Home, Mountain View area. I have the motorcycle booklet from your state as well. Thinking about heading up to Branson this time too. Last time we went, we went though Hot Springs, and Heber Springs.

Default Hey, SWLAMEDIC, I'll TAKE IT!

If you still have the chrom center stand I'd be interested in taking it off your hands... Let me know if your offer still stands.

Use on level ground or bike facing uphill only. Don't idle the bike on the centerstand without being on the bike either. If you do you will end up having to pick it up off it's side. Trust me, I know.

Same here with the Wheeldock, level or slight uphill. I also find that if you put it on the stand, turn the wheel and lock the steering the bike won't go forward far enough for the stand to go back up accidentally.

Default Ez-lift

I have the EZ-LIFT center stand on mine , and I recomend this above all the others....Well built real stabil and ez to use.....and it re-inforces the frame at the bow tie makes the frame stiffer as well......Its a ride off stand so when you do put it up on it,, its hard to get off just pushing it forward....use it only on level hard ground when i'm doing maint like oil changes or cleaning though.....otherwise its allways on the jiffy stand...
