Pad, Thanks for share this and everything is OK. I've been thinking about installing a center stand for awhile, this hasn't changed my mind, but now I know what to watch out for when using the center stand. Thanks

I have a rubber wheel chock I throw in front of the front tire, and leave the jiffy stand down to! That would be a helpless feeling for sure!

The locking mechanism would be a great addition! Not sure how it could be done, but when your working on it or the such, you could lock it in to prevent such an issue.

Hopefully the Wheel Dock guys are look at this thread!!! Could be a big selling factor.....

You made up my mind. I was paranoid about putting one on even though it would really help me park in the garage. Not worth worrying about it all the time.

There ain't nothing to worry about if you chock the wheel and leave your side stand down as a backup.

Nothing to worry about is right - with the Wheeldock. If you are at the back of a bike pushing forward (or parking down hill) it may roll. If the bike is parked correctly, it will not move.

I am assuming his garage floor is not on a hill or sloped, I know mine is not. Never the less that is good advice, once you explained yourself. I think anyone that does not know this should probably not own a motorcycle...

I don't have a center stand yet but thanks for the warning. I'd hate to see my bike rolling off the stand....
