Kevlar is the secret that makes them so indistructable.Both my my RK's have the 1 1/2" Kevlars on them,I never hesitate when it comes to whacking the throttle.The rear tire will melt long before you will ever stress the belt.It's rocks and things,and just plain abuse that will hurt a belt.I know bros that are running belts that came on their machines from the 80's.That speaks for itself.
