Default Shield Height

I need to change my shield because my line of sight is right at the top edge which is making me have to always adjust to either try to look through or over. What the prefer, to look over or through the shield?

Same here, I have the 12 inch stock but think I'm going to try the 9.

I am a short guy and ride in the rain frequently and don't like looking thru 2 pieces of plastic in the rain----- I use a helmet with a flipup facehsield---- so I opted for an 8" FastAire . I look over it by an inch or two and it throws the wind up and over me. The FastAire shields are a quality piece and are really inexpensive.

Definitely over. I use the 9. Rain & distortion can be problematic looking through the shield.

Over for sure. I like when seated on the bike to have the top of the windshield be about even with my nose. This gives me good wind protection but i can see over it in the rain or fog and not be blinded.
