While I watched the show, it only took about 1 minute to figure out it was going to be an infomercial for H D. That being said, I watched it anyway and learned nothing new. So it wasn't much of a commercial.

I also wondered what I would like to see in a Touring show. I never could figure it out. Maybe they should do a "Riding Route 66" show and show some of the stops along the way. That would be interesting. But it was a commercial, not a tourist show.

It was also funny that when they got to Vegas they were pulling into "The Palms" the premier celebrity casino in Vegas, but when they left they were coming out of a "Best Western" (can you say subliminal message?).

Why they made a big deal about sleeping on a House Boat, was ridiculous for a motorcycle show. How about meeting real Americans, show some night life stuff, show stuff to do along the ride.

Sure she was nice eye candy that can ride a motorcycle. But why was she riding the Street Glide like a crotch rocket, all the time? Feet on the rear pegs and bent over the tank tucked behind the 4" windshield. Strange ?????? It did make me laugh though.

I didn’t see that Jay Barbieri (American Thunder) was the producer, but I did notice him in one of the out-takes and the end of the show. Jay was the guy showing his tattoo and making fun of the dude rider.

The stupidest comment of the show was when the chickie rider said she loved touring Hoover Dam on a motorcycle, because she could see it without stopping, like you have to in a car. WHAT THE **** ??????

But it was better than no touring show or a show about bikes you can’t ride more than 20 minutes at a time.

Because you KNOW this man is a RUB because he's young and good looking with no tatoos, until he gets one on the show. Now, let's not let them have NEW HD bikes, heaven forbid HD advertise something new...no....let them have a 60s AMF bike that leaks oil and is chopped...you know, old chopper look. Let's not let them have any rain gear, no...there's no room to put anything on the bike, period, so they can't even change clothes on the road, so they'll wear the same thing all week....better yet, they can wash in a river somewhere.

Since no way in heck anyone's going to be satisfied with a condensed version of a trip across the USA, let's make the show last say....a month. That ought to give any area they rode through it's just desserts and plenty of time to see what goes on in each town. Hey, let's show them get drunk in each town!

Now the woman, I don't know what you have to complain with about her, I thought she was beautiful and knew her stuff about riding, thus powering that Ultra, but since you aren't satisfied.....how about an 18 year old, riding with a bikini on, better yet, with her top OFF. And let's make sure that when they show those "morning after" scenes after they stayed on the houseboat or motel, that they BOTH look really tired and are seen coming out of the room together, and him giving that little "wink" to the camera.

Gosh, sure does sound like something I would love to watch. I think I'll write Harley-Davidson.

For cryin' out loud people!!
Rhonda, your ideas are good too!

OK, I watched the whole show. After it ended I came to the conclusion that HD must have been responsible for producing that little piece of fluff.
As far as the blond, well "thats hot". Move over Paris!

I watched it and like it, anything motorcycle related is fine by me....winter time ya know. As for HD infomercial, well Duh! what did you expect???? Goldwings?

Rhonda....you have way too much time on your hands, get on the new UC and ride....funny stuff.

As for American Thunder or the Tuttles...I watch them too, can't wait to see what those idiot Tuttles will do next....it's called entertainment....not real....like wrestling...make believe.....I know that as do most of you here...

Sure it could have been more, but it was fine by me...it too reminded me of my cross country trip in 06...went by a lot of the places I went to, I got to relieve that and it was fun.....

Wow, change the channel if something doesn't appeal to you....

The reason she was riding the street glide the way she was is because she races for a living, which is also why she could ride so well. When you go from one type of bike to another it is hard to change. I hate people who look at the cover of the book and make comments with out knowing a dam thing about the book. Do some research or just listen in the beginning of the show and they told you she was an ASSC champion. Sorry just a pet peeve of mine since I am always judged before they know me.

My only complaint with the show was that you can't condence a 4000 mile trip into 1 hour. If they had made it into a mini-series, more places to visit, eat, etc. Perhaps added the tail of the dragon, blueridge parkway, more of Rt66 through Texas, Oklahoma.

And it was called "Harley Davidson Coast to Coast", so those that thought it wouldn't be a sales pitch for HD, what were you thinking??

The thing that got me was when the guy gets inked while on the tour. Anyone who is tattoooed knows that aftercare for at least the next two weeks determines how the tat will last and heal. I agree the blond was pretty good. I mean I would rip it up if I was single and had the chance but WTF why not. Also too many miles in too short a time to enjoy what the areas had to see and offer. And yes too much like an hour long sales pitch for sure. 1 bike thats yours and being packed with what you got is the real deal. Not brand new HD clothes on multiple brand new bikes. the show is a no sale to the purists who have toured with ****ty clothing, limited funds and even a breakdown along the way.
