Any down side to removing the U shaped tube when using the relocator?
I took the chrome U shaped tube off and mounted mine straight to George's plate, still moved it back about 2.5" but didn't set it up as high. (didn't like the gap beween the seat and tour pak when using the tube) I think it looks better like that because George puts a nice polished edge on his mounts, great guy and a bullet proof product!

I removed the tube too,IMO looks and fit's much better,been that way over a year with no problem!
