SLOW DOWN... There's no need to do 85.... Its a Cruiser Remember... Knock it down to 75-80 and chill out!!!

No way! I haven't just put an S&S 107 in mine (with new Venoms) to slow down....
I bought my first Harley in 1974. There was no such thing as a cruiser then, I just bought a great bike with a chuffing great engine. I suppose I do cruise sometimes, but mostly ride it like I just stole it!

Yet another worthless response. I ride my bike the way I like to, not like some ****in ***** driving 55 in the fast lane. If you don't like it, to bad. Maybe your the one that needs to "chill out"!!!
Go back and read the thread title. This is not a debate about how fast we should drive. It's about fixing a speed wobble.
Have you checked your wheels to see if they ar "true"? Put it on a jack and spin the front and rear tire...hold something next to the rim that wont scratch the chrome like something plastic and see if the rim "wobbles" in and out or up and down. When they change the tire they are supposed to check to see if the wheels are "true". if the rims "wobble" more than say 1/16 to 1/8 th inch then that may be your problem. Let me know what you find out!

P.S.
I like to ride fast once in a while as well. Don't let the nervous nellies get under your skin...they probably haven't had the grandkids over lately to hen peck them. (Its all in good fun ((to the hen peckers)))
The problem has been fixed. I have ridden the bike about 150 miles since I got it back with everything in the front end tightened down like it should have been in the first place. There is no more wobble and I am good to go.
Glad you found the problem Mario before something really bad happened. I've had my RK over 100 mph before and had no issues ( but I quit doing it after I seen I could). That mechanic should be horse whipped. I don't understand why you went back to that place after your first bad experience but that's your business. Anyway, glad you didn't listen to the "just slow down BS" . You knew something was wrong and a real bad day could have occurred at a slower speed.
