I just did a top end on my 91 Glide and after installing my engine back into the frame I would up with a massive vibration when you excelarate the throttle??? I took my scoot for a ride and no matter what RPM or MPH I was doing, It would vobrate worse then when I tore into it??. I did find out that after I reinstalled it, the way I did It was wrong. I tighned up the engine to trans first, then the primary cover. I loosen up the primary, engine, and trans and did it the proper way ( Like the primary first then the engine to trans ). I started it up and stil have the same vibration??. I replaced the front motor mount, and still the same results. I was told if the compensating sprocket was even .010 thousands out it would vibrate. I'll check it this weekend but it went back together the same way so I would be suprised if it was out!!!. I'm at a lost I followed all of the instructions from the service manual ( Original Harley shop manual!! )so I'm at a lost???. Any imput would be so much appreciated!!!. I need my scoot back!!!.
