I am currently in the process of breaking down all the chrome on my bike to go to the powder coater. My only problem is I am not sure which parts to go black gloss and which to wrinkle. Any pictures to help me decide.
Bars-gloss
Signals-gloss
brake and clutch-gloss
All covers-?
Just my opinion and you know what they say about that but, I have the same exhaust and was thinking of doing the engine, etc. in the wrinkle or flat black and was going to do the rest of the chrome accents in gloss. I think it will tie in nicely.

Thats the way I was leaning. It seems like I saw a bike here not long ago that had some of the "motor covers" in gloss, it looked pretty slick!
OK I'll throw in my .02. Anything you don't mind washing should be the gloss black, but anything that is difficult to get to to clean should be wrinkle. The wrinkle can be hosed off and blasted and will look fine but the gloss will have to be cleaned and waxed on occasion. Make sure you post some pics when done, should look GREAT!
First off, I wanna say that your SG is really nice, I really like your wheels....hehe. I also would go wrinkle or flat black. to kinda match the wrinkle on your engine, i.e. primary cover, football air cleaner, horn..... Id say anything near the motor go wrinkle/flat. Now like your strut covers and your center console, id go with a nice shiny black. Im gonna eventually do all that, its just not in the cards.....credit cards that is, LOL.
Thanks for the compliments guys. It looks like everyone has the same general ideas that I have. Thanks for the input! I will post the pics when I am done.
