Talking New power

SO i put in my 258 cams...Here is the new build..103 flattop pistons, 3 piece metal gaskets (.015), STOCK HEADS, 258 cams, v/h big radius, SERT, a big sucker intake and a custom map....... Now with all this said you have to remember that i have STOCK HEADS... New Numbers 97hp and 101tq.....Let me know what you think...... im VERY impressed.... maybe with high compression pistons I would get over 100hp what you think.....oh well its a screamer and maybe soon ill post the dyno if I get my lazy *** to scan it.... anyhoot here is a proven build for good numbers

Default 258 Cams 103 ci

dmgary, I'm doing about the same to my 09 Ultra but going with the SE255...any particular reason you're going with the 258's...I hope mine turns some good numbers as well....

Looks good. I went with 258 cams as well but I did do high flow SE heads. I got a tad more HP but not that much. You can see my chart if you click on the link in my sig. The 255 are supposed to give a little more torque than the 258 but less hp. I am totally happy with the 258's and she screams (for a 103) from about 2500 rpms on. You should be very happy.

I had the 255 cam installed and it just ran out of power about 4500 RPM i mean like hit a wall. I had 86hp and 105 tq. I tend to ride my bike harder then most an almost always at the top so i went with a bigger cam.. The 255 cam is a GREAT cam if you shift before 4500, if you plan on goinig above that you need to choose a different cam........ Just my thoughts
