Service Manual Question

I need one for my 08 SG.

Any place beside the dealer to get one at a cheaper price or is it dealer only?

Just looking to save a buck or two!

Zanotti motors... Get the part number from h/d online and plug it in to their online parts dealy and see .

I ordered mine from Chicago H-D.
I also got the parts manual and Electrical trouble shooting manual.

You can get aftermarket manuals or DVDs, they may be cheaper. IMO aftermarket manuals are usually not as good as the factory manuals.

Check on e-bay, lakeshore hd sells them on there for a pretty good price, if nothing else though, get the p/n and see what zanotti's wants for it.

Got mine from Zanottis too, web order and ordered it with other parts so the shipping charges were combined. 20% off all the time (from list). Book is worth it's weight in good steak.

Those are retail prices, as stated you can get them from a 20% dealer for cheaper.

Like everyone is saying, go to Zanotti's or Chicago HD for a 20% discount. I DO recommend not only buying the service manual, but the electrical and parts manual. I'm no electrician, but it's good trouble shooting information. Also, I've found that finding the part number myself before I go into dealership sure speeds up the process.

Another great idea from a poster is to get the manuals put on a spiral binder (from FedEx/Kinkos) I'm about to do that to mine!

Definitely order from Chicago HD or Zanotti's.
