Default Gauge Decision..HELP!!

I have a wife, 4 kids, house and job and make decisions everyday, but for my ride I can't decide....

I want to swap out my black EGS gauges. I am planning to paint my inner fairing gloss black and have a buddy with an FBI bagger with the aluminum spun SE type gauges that will sell me them at a good price (more concerned about the look than price). . He's going with Dakota Digital. However I really like the look of the white backed SG gauges and think with the gloss black inner would look really great.

Both would be an improvement over my stock but I really can't decide..help me boy's.

Personaly, I think the spun aluminium would be more of a different look than the SG guages. That's what I would pick.

Depends on the year of your bike. I had the spun aluminum on my last couple bikes. I loved the look of them, but honestly they can be a beotch to read at night - the lighting on them kinda sucks. I hopped on a buddy's SG one night and I thought the silver gauges on it were a little easier to read at night, but IMO they aren't quite as good looking in the daylight. I put the new backlit ones on my new SG and love them! I have yet to ride them at night (no shots please - I'm in Iowa and we do have winter here!!) but I can tell they are gonna work well. The problem with these is that they are only available for the 09's.

If it were me and I was going to invest the time and money I would also go with the Dakota Digital. Friend of mine has them and they are sweeeeet, but they are expensive

I have the spun in my bike now. I recently saw the new guages by Klock Werks. I wish I would have waited and I would have went withthe KW.

Dakota Digitals would look great in the black dash, especially when the bike is off and they are a black screen. If you are going for a blacked out bike, the DD gauges are what you want. They are also TOPS in customer service.
