I just got these from the ol lady for valantines day...First off they attach with double sided tape and the side covers dont even fit flush making a big gap....if I would have left them on the wind would have probabley takin it off...there crap!! Has anyone else had this problem
I don't buy Kuryakyn parts anymore. Some of their parts are good, some arn't so good. They don't stand behind any of them either way, so I'll spend my money some place else.
I had to break out the grinder to get my curved license plate frame to fit. Are all their parts that bad? I assumed it must have been an anomoly. I was looking at their stuff for chroming out the whole engine on my 09. How are these items from Kury? Should I just spend the money for HD?
09 - dont waste your cash on Kury - there products are not consistant. Each time i have purchased a part for my ultra or the wifes deluxe we have compared the hd stuff to the kury stuff and always go with hd. It may be a little cheaper to go with kury, but you did spend 18 -20 K on a bike right?
I think the only Kury part I ever had...other than the curved license plate frame...was a wrinkle black Hypercharger A/C. That was a good piece of gear if you ask me. I never really got into chrome until now as my last scoot was a Night Train. Anyway, thanks for the heads up as I had a really long list of Kury items picked out to order while I'm on deployment. Guess I'll have to redo my list with HD chrome.
