I liked the way the factory mirror's looked on my Road Glide but all I saw was my shoulder, get a set of sportster mirror's they are the same shape but the stem is about 2" longer which gave me the perfect view. You can pick them up used cheap, next time you're in the Harley shop take a look and you'll see what I mean.

First thing i saw when i got on the bike for the first ride was my shoulders in the mirror when wearing a jacket. They're pretty much worthless if you're a big guy. I had a Dyna FXD that i had put long mirrors on. I just swapped them out and put the short stem HD mirrors on the Dyna. If you go fast enough what's behind you is not important anyway.
I suppose my new title as "senior experienced all-knowing leader of the unwise" is ok, certainly beats "hangaround" but now a can't post any Bull at the risk of damaging my new reputation. Thanks a lot guys.
**Edit** My mistake....just realized it's a Road Glide thread. Sorry guys! **
On Terrie's Street Glide I got the Fat Baggers painted mirrors (and the painted inner fairing, leg fairings and just got the painted air cleaner cover but it's not on yet).......
No worries on posting here. That's a fantastic looking Street Glide!!
