Maybe next year. Didn't I say that last year? Geez, I'll miss it again... It's been a few years since I've been there, but to everyone that goes, please be safe and watch the crazzies. They're everywhere down there. A little firewater, and all kinds of hell can break loose. Remember you want to come home in one piece.
I have never been, but looks like I will find out what it is all about. I hope to be leaving the cold in Up-State NY Friday morning for Daytona. Long Haul.............. driving it alone.
The wife and I will miss Bike Week, but we will be there April 6. Went to Bike Week in 07 had a great time! While we were there we hit that Oyster Bar in New Smyrna, for Oysters and Beer! great place, but I don't recall the name of it, could you refresh my memory.
Just to keep the thread goin', the local news stations are declairin' today (Thursday) to be the "beginning of Bike Week"! In years past the "authorities" tried to keep the beginning to Saturday, but now that they need our bux I guess earlier is better.
There were reports of displays & vendors being set up & some sort of organized ride from Jacksonville. Guess I'll fire up the scoot & spend some time checkin' out the popular locations today. Hope I survive these sub 80 deg. temperatures. I hate winter!....
