I really wanted the flame stuff for my '07 RKC until someone said that the rubber looked like drip marks - now I can't look at the flames anymore so I went with the Iso's.

Default Look at the Aileron grips.

I have the aileron grips and I love them. Very comfortable, form fitting and easy to keep looking nice. Just the right amount of chrome without getting crazy.

I have the Performance Machine grips. You can get them on Ebay for a decent price. I had the flame grips on my old bike. I liked them. Never really went on any long rides with them.

I've been through 4 sets of grips over the past few months...

Started with the stock grips on my 09 RKC. Not BAD, but nothing to write home about.

My first aftermarket grip was the HD Chrome and Rubber (large). I really liked the way they looked, but they weren't comfortable at all. Gave me cramps, I think because they were too big.

Next up were the Kuryakyn ISO grips. Contrary to what most say about them, I didn't find them comfortable. Yeah, the rubber was comfortable, but I think they were too big too.

Finally, I got the Performance Machine renthal rubber grips. These are a keeper! Very comfortable indeed!!!

I put on SAC grips. Wanted something different. Love them. http://www.coolsac.com/browse.aspx?category_code=GRIPS

Out of the 2 sets you listed, I would choose the flames, that is what else I considered. Not a fan of iso grips, they are just too common on all kinds of bikes. (Already have too many things that are common to every other HD out there )

On my RKC I went with the Nostalgic Grips. Liked them enough I now have them on my Sportster as well.
