I'm lucky I get to ride almost every day. But he wifey does complain about "withdrawal" when her schedule doesn't allow her a ride!! She sometimes comes up with the most outrageous schemes to accomplish errands so she can get a ride.
Rhonda, Sorry to hear you were feeling down. Nice weather is just around the corner. As soon as you can jump on the back of the scoot you'll have a huge grin and be glad to be back int he saddle.
Hang in there, things will certainly get better. Hey, with the state of the economy and the current job market, at least you have a job to stress over. You have your good health and a new scoot and a loving better half. Keep your chin up......as I said things will get better.
Again, thanks everybody. I do feel very fortunate to have a job when there's so many people that don't. It's just that the severe stress caused me to have a bad stress/panic/depression type thing. Which also made me feel a lot of guilt since I do at least have a job. I'm a type A personality and there's a lot of baggage that goes with that sometimes. I've got another week off work on medical leave, and I'm starting to feel better now. Hey...maybe I can fool around with ya'll a bit and it will make me feel even better. I'm just now getting to where I even feel like posting. I'll be back to my regular happy self soon...I just know it.
Rhonda,
Watch the paper and pick yourself up a little bike for runnin' around on when hubby is at work. Now-a-days $2,500.00 gets you a nice used bike with plenty of power.
I have a high stress job too, teaching high school, but my ride to work prepares me for the day and my LONG ride home will relax me.
