carden260 nice grips those were originally my first choice.... so do i need to buy a new sleeve at all? or just cut the old grips off and re use. i have the service manual...

Putting new grips on the FBY is easier than messing with throttle cables and 10/4 on using the stock sleeve just cut the grip off ..

So what you're saying is it is no big deal to swap out for some new grips on an 08 Ultra!
Cause I'd like to put a pair of those nostalgic grips on mine but thought it was a hassle.

You dont have to do anything just remove your old grips and install them they are made for the bikes with throttle by wire.....
