21", have to lower front?

I put a 21 on my FLHX and rode it all last year, just over the winter I put the 1" HD lowering kit on. Only put @ 150 miles on it so far, but I truely can not tell a difference in handling. The ride is going to be firmer, less tire side wall.
If you are short on the inseam, you will notice the 21 on the front.
