I've been looking at a tour on route 66 for a while. I don't have an answer to your question but there is all kind of info available if you google Route 66. Here's a couple of sites to start you off. The bottom two are general touring sites with info about routes all across the U.S.
Plan to spend the night in Oklahoma City and stay in a Hotel in Brick Town (Down Town OKC) where there is a lot to eat, see and do. We have baseball, Hockey, BasketBall, plays, concerts and movies all within a 10 minute walk of each other. The Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial Museum is right there as well. Brick Town is also the location of the National Hog Rally. I would also suggest spending a few hours at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame which is just 10 short Street Glide minute north. I promise it is well worth it. That would be a lot for a one day stop. Get up the next morning and ride a fast 30 minute drive for breakfast at Pops in Arcadia and then take a quick tour of the Little Round Barn that you will hear about from a lot of other people. Then enjoy a nice 2 hour country drive to Tulsa.
