hi everyone i was looking at getting a set of the floor board extentions that move the boards out 1in and up 1in. just wondering who has them and if there worth it. im riding a 07 blk cherry sg. thks for all responses whens the warm weather coming!
I have 3/4" extensions, also on an '07 Black Cherry SG. They are great, but if you are in the least bit aggressive in cornering you will find that clearance is not adequate. Remember that your SG is 1" lower in the rear making it more prone to scraping in corners, and IMO the extensions make it unacceptable.
I moved my floorboards up to the top notch and problem is largely gone. After about five minutes I didn't even notice the change of having my feet up an extra inch, but I can't say how riders with long legs will like this position.
Member and forum sponsor Soos sells these, so check him out.
