Work on these pitiful instructions HD!
Same here, the instructions were probably written by someone sitting on a blanket drinking a slurpee in another country.

I pulled my hair out for an hour until I put the directions down and used some common sense and mechanical skills.

Worst directions ever. But here's what I did; spent a few hours installing it, rode the bike, hated the bulkiness, removed it and sold it on here, bought a Mustang seat w/backrest, spent a few minutes installing it, LOVIN IT! That was almost a year ago.

But if you must use it, yes it's held on by one bolt using a crush style nut that is still stuck to my bike........ Poor design & worse instructions.

It was a bear to install especially with my fat fingers but with a lot of patience and lots of deep breaths I got it done!

Here's the link to the American baggers write up of the install...
http://www.baggersmag.com/tech/1110_...est/index.html

Now if I can figure out how to tighten up the backrest pad so it's not so shakey I'll be all set!

You are better off to not even look at the instructions, just remove your seat and go at it. It is not a problem to install, the instructions are just frustrating!

American Bagger magazine did a great step by step install of this, available with photos on their website. Way better than the instructions. Search the tech section.
