This may not be the right section to ask, but I didn't see a section that fit with my question.
Is there a mobile version of HDForums? I'd love to read the forums on my cell, but the pages are often too big and load slowly. I noticed that there's a 'mobile' skin in my options, and it looks perfect for what I need, but the problem is that 1) if you select it, you can not revert back because you no longer have access to that option in your CP (I was lucky that I could use my 'Back' button to revert it), and 2)I don't want that skin when I read the forums from my computer.
Any of you know if there is a separate URL for the mobile version???
If you are able to load the forums on your mobile device, scroll to the bottom of the page. There is a drop-down box that has the two skins listed (HDForum37 and Mobile). Select Mobile and the page will refresh for you (make sure that you are doing this from your mobile device, not your PC). It looks like this is stored as a cookie, so your PC session should not be affected.
If by chance your PC session switches to the mobile skin also (it didn't for me, but I don't want anyone to get screwed because of my post), there are no links to navigate back to the options to change it back. You will need to go to the options page directly (this is done from your PC, and you must be logged in).

Be careful, I just tried this on my BlackBerry Curve. It changed the skins on my PC as well.
I did this with my IPhone and it works fine. Thanks for the info on how to do this
pxs130. I probably will not use it that much but it will be much easier when I do....

Interesting. I have an LG Dare from Verizon and the two (PC and cell phone) are using the settings independently for me. I'm glad that I included the link to get you back to your options page.
Terry - if you have any leverage, ask the webmaster to add a link to the options page through the mobile skin. Better yet, ask them to have a separate route to a mobile version... like m.hdforums.com. I think that there is a big market for mobile users.
If you can download the Opera Mini browser. It has an option to switch to mobile view. Works for me on here and most other sites I visit. And I use a dumb phone.
