That was my thought when I read the title. Easy job to drain and fill, easy job to overfill.

I put appx 24oz in the tranny which is what the book says it needs. I used Moble1 Vtwin 20/50 in the crankcase and primary. Ive used Moble1 gear oil before and dont remember haveing this prob.

Are you sure it don't call for 32oz.

What kind of bike do you have.

make sure what you put in the primary is compatable with the clutch if the
clutches stick it will be hard to shift

I just don't see how anything that you've done could cause any problems. I'm wondering if it's not just a coincidental problem that showed up at this particular time. That would be my guess. Have you done a clutch/clutch cable adjustment lately? What you're describing sounds like a dragging clutch issue. Have you adjusted your primary chain and possibly gotten it too tight? This will also cause the hard shifting problems.

First thing would check is the Oil Level ... although don't use it Mobil 1 is good Oil .. Many swear by it .. if it is not overfilled try changing again... the price of a quart of oil sure beats doing any Tranny damage .. if still shifts rough would guess clutch is out of adjustment which may be the case anyway when say neutral is hard to find...
