Signal Lite fuse location
Signal Lite fuse location
Can anyone help me with this? 2004 Ultra, chaffed wire blew a fuse and now signal lites, speedo, tach, brake lites and cruise control no longer work. All fuses under left cover are good. Is there a hidded location for this fuse? I'm stuck on the road in San Angelo, Texas and my manual is 3000 miles away. Any help would be appreciated.

I checked my service manual and the signal lights are #3 in the fuse block, instruments are #4, and brakes and cruise control are #5. Since your problem is three different fuses, you may have blown the maxi-fuse. You can find it behind the left-side side cover. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the quick reply. All the fuses in the left side fuse block are good. I switched them around the make sure. I swapped relays. The main fuse is good. The bike runs. The cruise control doesn't work because the speedo doesn't work. I ran a wire direct from the battery to the signal lite lead and everything works as it should. I can make a semi permanent fix with a piece of wire twisted together and untwist when I shut the bike off. I can't figure out what provides power for this circuit.
