good news
went back to the doc yesterday for my 4 week follow to my neck surgery. i had 2 discs removed with fusion and a titanium plate put in. (sounds creepy huh?). my right arm and shoulder started going numb about 6 months ago and had gotten a lot worse over time. then had the heart attack in august about the time i was starting to get serious about finding out how to rectify this problem. but got over that and had the surgery. doc said everything looked great and since no pain, etc. he doesn't need to see me for 6 months. gave me the ok to start working out some but to do more reps than weight. then came the 64k question!!! when can i ride again??? he looked at me (seemed like forever) and said 2 more weeks. told me that since everything was sooo good, to be real careful and not f**k it up. told the wide last not but also told her he said ok to ride around neighborhood some too. (little white lie!!!). anyway, almost there but at least now i have a target date. a few week ends in the saddle to get backk in sync and then off to natchez parkway to see my daughter. yee haa!!! thanks to all for their support. ride safe and have a great weekend!!!
