Default New Windshield, WOW!

I purchased a half moon windshield from the Clark's www.customflhtwindshields.net for my 2008 Ultra. It took all of 15 minutes to install. Went for 175 mile ride yesterday and all I can say is what a difference. I am almost 6'8" tall and had the stock shield. My glasses would vibrate from the wind at anything above 45 mph. The new windshield cured this 100%. I could hear the stock radio much better, and even the wife said the ride was better. I got my windshield cut 14 1/2 inches and it is just right. I can easily see over it, or can duck down a little and look through it. I do not work for, own, or even know the Clark's (Real nice people to talk to by the way) just passing on info on a great product.

They do work. I think they look okay for whatever size you buy.

I highly recommend getting the "Mar Resitant" ones. Shipped for under $80 is great too.

I was also concerned with the way I THOUGHT they looked. After the install, I actually like the looks better than the stock shield. My other alternative was to get the H-D tall shield which looks really funny being so tall and narrow. I am happy with the looks and the price nor quality can be beat. (I have not figured out the pictures yet but, plenty are on their web site)

I just put a 12" dark tint on my '09 Road Glide and couldn't be more thrilled with the new look. I got tired of hearing about my "Gold Wing" windshield. Can't say how well it rides as the wind hasn't been below 25 mph since the install. I found that you have to be careful installing because the rubber well nuts will push easily into the fairing. Went to my local H-D dealer and bought new ones ($1 each) and installed them on the windshield first then mounted it . Made it a lot easier. By the way, my friend and I saw one on an Electra Glide Friday and thought it looked outstanding. The half-moon effect looks much better on a bat wing bike imho.
