Question 2000 thru 2002 injection

I've heard there are 2 different systems on the touring bikes thru this time period. Anybody out there know about major changes that were made to the system? I'm trying to find a way of time stamping the system in relation to model year and build date. All thoughts and remarks greatly appreciated.

I believe that in 2002 H-D switched from Magneti Marelli to Delphi. Comments I've read have stated that the MM system works fine on stock motors but isn't flexible enough to work well on bigger builds.

I have a 99 UC and it sports a 95 CI upgrade & the MM works ok. Only problem I have is the idle will keep dropping down so after a month or so I have to disconnect the battery & reconnect it and it goes back to normal. I get 40-50 MPG

The MM EFI started in 99 i think and it was used on all bike to include the SE and then in 2002 the went with the first generation Delphi and the in 2003 was the second generation Delphi. Like some body else said the MM is not as easly adjustable. There are ways but it is getting expensive. My 99 had it and i started having issues so i just removed it and put on a Carb. But most of the difference is in the computer.
