And +1 on the auxiliary passing lamp and bullet turn signal kit, HD PN 69227-04A as a great mod if you ever want to do more. As if that was a question in the first place!
You didn't ask, but I'd suggest you consider the auxiliary passing lamp and bullet turn signal kit, HD PN 69227-04A as a great mod. I didn't think it would be much of an improvement until I bought and installed it on my EG and then wondered why I waited so long to do it. Getting rid of the non-chrome bracket/towel rack really makes a big difference.
Regardless of my unsolicited suggestion, your bike looks great.
Yes I do like your suggestion! I hadn't noticed that part before. I will keep it in mind when I get another chrome addiction attack.
Aaron, did you get the Monster Ovals on. Just checking on how you like them.
Bob in Brownsburg.
Thanks for asking. Got the Monster Ovals on the bike today. Riding home from the shop was about 20 miles. I like the way they sound! Not too loud, but definitely still pronounced with my dual headers and 211 cams. They really sound great when you take off and whine out through the gears. Makes the engine sound much more powerful.
I'm glad I got those Samson's off my bike. Not only were they too loud with my recent engine upgrades, but the chrome on them was really getting tarnished. I didn't realize they were so bad until he took them off and I could see the undersides of them and see the yellowing. He said Samsons are cheap thin chromed mufflers. I guess they are from what I saw.
