I wanted to add some Rinehart slipons to my 09 Street Glide. I looked at a bike that had these installed and it looked like the left pipe was on "crooked". Meaning that it looks as if it points "outward" as it runs from the head pipe to the back end. (the front end is closer to the midline of the bike than the back-end is). The right side looked straight.
I thought I had seen another thread about this, but did a search and cannot find it. Is this common with the new head pipes? i.e. the left slipon is crooked? Or was this just a bad install?
Any help appreciated. I definately don't want to so with the Rinehart if there is some reason it won't go on straight.
That wasn't the thread I remembered (which was maybe a month ago), but yes, this points to exactly what I was talking about. Seems some see how the left side is crooked. But sounds like 09StreetGlider did not.
Which makes me wonder if it's specific to certain slip ons, though I'm not sure how that is possible.
