OK, I'll be the lone supporter of these suckers.
When my wife brought these home several months ago, I had to run out in the garage really fast before I started laughing in her face. Then, one day, before she got home from work, I picked one up and used it to clean up the kitchen. Damn thing worked pretty good, not great but decent. Figured she already blew 20 bucks so we'll keep using them.
I got to say, we've already saved 3 times the cost of these by not using paper towels. Use the big ones to fill in as a bath mat while others are in wash. Lots of other little things I've used em for, but they will never touch my bike.
Go ahead, flame away, I can take it.

I agree, there great in the kitchen, make awesome dish cloths. These things really soak up alot of liquid, i don't think i wasted my money although I won't use them on the bike. I prefer blow drying and microfibre cloths.
I like the absorber too, but there is nothing better than my 8hp AirForceMasterBlaster Blow Drier... Shop the Pet Dryer sites on the net, DO NOT buy from a Motorcyle Parts dealer. You can save up to $200 going with the Pet Dryer direction, and it's the exact same brand!
On my black bike the sham wow is crap. Leaves to much streaking. I use a high velocity leave blower, them go over it with a new microfiber towel. No water no streaks.
I always use a new towel cause the used one's may have dirt or sand that'll swirl and scratch the finish.
After that a good coat of meguires 26 yellow carnuba. perfect everytime. My other bikes that weren't black didn't require so much caution, but it's worth it.
