HQ0034 tuning Map from SE257
The MAP in it should make it run & if you get it to a good dyno tuner right away, you'll be good to go. They should easily be able to dial it in from there.
I can't wait to hear the results ~ not necessarily the dyno "numbers", but the rideability after a good tune is in place.
Got a good variety of disk & end caps for that pipe? There is a "racing" open endcap (kinda like a cone that points out & has "for racing only" stamped into it) that is a great cap to use with less disks than what is used with the closed cap. There was a guy on one of the forums that helped develop and test that pipe who pointed out the benefits of that cap. I had one & can probably find the P/N if interested.
I have the cap you are talking about, I was thinking that the map for the 57's was not going to be friendly? I was hoping someone had something a little closer? I do have the tuner I told you about and I also have the guy you suggested phone #. I am leaving for a trip out to Mountain View for a week of riding, it is a yearly opener for the season.
I am planing to finally get the 34's in when I get back because in this weather she runs fine! I was asking for a map to get me close so if I have to tweak I'd be a bit closer I also want to learn how to use the SERT to its capacity since I am always changing something. I have read up and monkeyed with it and now I want to really get to know it! I remember having many many problems the first go around. Anyway I will let you know the results and I am excited for the outcome. Doug suggested I get the protune but until things pick up I'll have to settle for a little manual tweak-age.
Thanks again Phil for your help and guidance!
I had my SE Performance heads done up when I did the build and I have always used 1 qt in 1200 miles so the valve seals is a good start. Hope it ends there too, if not Ill continue down the road of investigation!
