Just made a simular move - sold my 05 softail Fatboy and bought an 09 RKC. I was concerned that I wouldnt like the feeling of sitting 'on the bike' as comapered to sitting 'in the bike' like you do on the softail models. After a couple mods (seat, bars and rear shocks) I fell right at home. In fact, this is the best bike I have ever ridden, I love everything about it.... Congrats!
