Ok guys, I have installed the Kuryakyn Panacea LED system. This system ROCKS!!! Leds front and rear turn signals, and smoked tail light too.
One problem, I need to figure out how to get the "Security Key Light" from coming on and staying on once you use the turn signals. I think that the TSSM thingy came with the kit. Anyone else have this issue and have a fix for it?
I did not add the one for the front. It did not make much sense to install that one, sense the directions per the site I posted had it spliced into the one that was already there. Kind of like why would you splice a second one into one that is already there. I was already thinking of calling the Tech Support, but I thought that I would try here first.
I have the LED turn signals, run/turn/stop controller and the laydown LED taillight (backordered). When I called originally to get part numbers I needed the Tech told me if I installed the plugin one for the controller I would not need to do anything for the front. Mine works fine but when I first turn on the ignition both turn signals flash three times. I have not called Kuryakyn yet to confirm this is normal but it is a great setup. If I were you I would go directly to Kuryakyn. That way there will be no question as to whether the info given here is correct. Good luck.
So did you get your Laydown tail light?? That is the one that I have. It was back ordered when I ordered it too, so I called Dennis Kirk, paid more for it, but they had it and I wanted it. Now the whole system is installed. I really like it.
I don't have any pictures of the new LED's installed yet, but I have others of the bike with the new pipes and some other add ons installed, like the photo listed below.
I did the same thing with the front turn/running LED, rear ED stoplight and rear turn/running lights. Also very happy with the results
You need the TSSM Alarm Compatible Load Equ, part # 14857. I paid $25.49 from M&M Cycle, ordered eveything and had the parts in 5 working days.
I am no positive, but I thought that, that part came with the Laydown Tail Light?? If not and you ordered it extra, where does it plug in, or do you remove something and replace it with this item??

The kit for the rear lights does come with a load equalizer -- I installed it with my kit and everything works normally. I didn't add the front LED lights yet -- maybe that requires an additional equalizer?
