So can you do a 21" wheel not lose the width of the stock tire?

I want a 21" but do not want a skinny tire?

I would rather not do a low profile sidewall either if that is possible.

I thought you could buy some replacment brackets that move the fender?

I have an 08 RG and would like to get a bigger wheel up front some day but still like the look of the fat front. Anyone done this?

Duraglide, what kind of rims are those extreme? Was a 21 different in the steering or handling areas?

If you are running an avon like myself just keep an eye on the fender from now and again I heard the avon ballons more than the metzlier (sp). I had a little rub on the inside it justbarely touched my undercoating Im considering raising it a little more i already have the holes drilled so maybe a little more..
in this pic you can see the slight rub line so still contemplating to raise a bit more or not.

i have a 21 on my road king with a avon tire. i didnt have to enlarge the rear hole at all. i taped the 1/4 bolts and turned it around with no problems. i have about a 100 miles since the install now. puttin chrome legs on her this weekend, so i'll check it again.

Tape a piece of rubber vacumm line to the top of the tire and down the back and that will give you proper spacing.

Better imo I can really get in the turns more than I could with my previous setup. A little more road feel of course cause the tire is got a low profile sidewall but shoot you cant beat the look when you pull up to the bar.
