Is anyone here running kuryakyn blind spot turn signal mirrors with inner fairing mounts - part # 1456 - i have the chubby wo575 bars & was wondering if these fairing mounted mirrors provide ant better rear vision than the stock mirrors do - i want better vision but want to keep the mirrors off the bars - appreciate some input - thanks
Yes I am and yes they do.
Not perfect but better.
We dont have alot of options here unless you go to handlbar mounted units. Not gonna do it.
If Kury made these with a little longer arm...
Im going to rotate my arm a little higher, it requires a hole to be drilled below the little hole for the fairing mirror. But it cant be seen. I think it will work.
I had them too hoping they would help my rear view issues with the 575's but I eventually took them off and just got a set of standard stem mount mirrors. I found that the Kury's helped some with the view, but not much, and like street53glide said they vibrated so much that I couldn't really make out what was behind me.
If they were rubber mounted maybe and like Rod brought up if the arms were a little longer then they would be perfect.
If you want a set that's been mildly used send me a PM...
