antenna cable on detachable tour pack?
i had the dealer install the quick detach tour pack on my flhtc so i tried to take it off and the antenna cable is still wired into the box. the cable runs under the seat how are u supposed to take it off where is the plug? did the dealer screw up the install? removing the seat screw while holding the tour pack in one hand seems like the wrong thing to do.

I beleive you meant detachable tour pac rack, which will require a antenna mount on the frame so you can use a quick dissconnect. Just need the mount and a short cable and adapter for the tour pac!

well the dealer said something about the new antenna is mounted in the fairing now but i unhooked the rear antenna and lost reception. it is an '09 bike and the kit was supposed to be all you had to buy to convert to quick detach.
