Rumor has it now from some that have called HD customer service that they will be issuing a recall notice to dealers next week. Not confirmed yet, but I've heard
Thanks Dawg you're awesome... mine is the earlier version but the bike doesn't look to lean any more than normal. Anyone know how bad this lean is with the wrong bracket?

I just talked to HD customer service today and was told no plans for an actual recall. She also said that most if not all dealers should know about this by now and no problems getting it switched out. So I can only assume HD has sent the dealers some sort of service bulletin. My '09 UC leans over farther than I like so I'll be getting it swapped out soon. Larry

I haven't seen any bulletins at the dealership yet. I do know that the part shows as on backorder and that not many dealers have the part in stock. Like I said, it's only rumor of a "notice" or recall or tech tip or something, but we shall see.
I've had it done & posted it earlier in the month. I measured the difference & it raised my bike 1 1/4 inches. Now it is a lot easier to get off jiffy stand.
On back order.....Mine was ordered about three weeks ago after I called HD Customer Service and they called my dealer to get the bracket replaced on their dime.....Still has not come in....
