I got harley goodies extenders for my 85 FLHTC only problem was the bolts. They sent 1/2 inch course thread bolts when I need fine thread. No biggie.

I made my own 1" extentions with steel spacers and plastic inserts from Lowes. A buddy of mine in the bolt business gave the longer stainles steel bolts. Great mod. I just like to tinker or I would have bought the ones from Soos.

Thumbs up

Great product. Easy to install. Makes a huge difference. I'm 6'6" on an Ultra. And yes, your lean angle is reduced, slightly. I scraped the boards a few times since installing the extenders. But then I scraped them a time or two before the extenders. So what the hey! I'm having fun and the extenders make the ride more comfortable. Don't hesitate....Get them!!!

I put the Soos 1" kit on the Ultra. They sure to make a big difference in comfort. Give ol SoSo a call. He'll fix you up.

I put the Harley Goodies extenders on mine and love them. Feet would hang off the side of the boards before putting them on. Like many here, I often rest my heels on the board with the toe of my boots on the highway pegs. Very comfortable, and having the boards out a little further makes for an easier reach in this setup.

Soos. doesn't affect the brake pedal or shifter. Great product just scrape a bit now on some corners, sounds cool!

I bought the HarleyGoodies extenders. Nice product and they fit perfect. Don't know why I didn't put these on my bike a long time ago, super nice to have more room on the floorboard!

1" extensions are awesome. Much more comfortable. In fact I never use my highway pegs anymore....
