2009 FLHX Question

Looking at rear fender under license plate there is a round plastic "plug", for lack of better description (sorry no pic), anyone know what it is there for?

It covers a recessed bolt head that is welded on that serves as a threaded stud for securing the saddlebag bracket. Lift the bike or get on the floor and you'll see what's there inside the fender.
