I have the 765T and ram mount. Works great no problems so far. From what I was told there would be a problem with vibration, because of the circuitry they use now. Forget what they call it. Just have to worry about the rain.

I have a Garmin 760 in my truck- I don't believe it is waterproof although I am going to try to adapt it for my bike. The Garmins specifically for motorcycles seem to have rider friendly controls and cost a lot more!!!

Another vote for the Zumo 550. Great unit with bike and car mounts.

i've had a couple over the last 5 yrs. be sure to get one that has an internal battery that you can use when not plugged into the bike. i like to find local resturants etc without having to plug into power

I have a Nuvi 760 with a Ram Mount and Aquabox so it is waterproof. You can still use the keys when it is in the box.

Cheers

This a $550.00 GPS you can get one at that link for $327.00 they also have your 760 for $209.00 I use a Ram Mount works great, and you can even use the touch screen with gloves on.

Hi Renegade,
I saw your post and was wondering if the RAM cradle for the Nuvi 755t has room for the Nuvi cradle? Just got my Nuvi 755t and it looks like the 12V power cable connects only to the Nuvi cradle, and not to the Nuvi itself. Are you able to connect your 12v power cable when your Nuvi is on the RAM mount?
thanks for any advice you can provide

Ya know, I thought that same thing until I ordered it. The factory cradle fits inside of the ram mount. No issue with the power plug into the GPS either. It is all good, and no issues with it fitting at all. Just be careful on the power adapter for the bike, it is close to the gas tank.
