Meguires everything... wash, clay bar, paint cleaner, polish, glaze, then Meguires yellow wax for the paint. Meguires leather protectant, trim detailer and UV protectant. Every thing I own is either black or burgandy, truck, bike, boat, Yukon, and the labrador, LOL.

you're going to get a lot of opinions. glare auto polish is great for black bikes. top it with a good carnuba. I like p21s. of course zaino is also a great polish. I have a shelf full of products, everything from nxt to ice and the ones i mentioned are far superior IMO. Do a search and you'll find a wealth of info here.
Easy answer. Read all you can and then go to autotopia and similar sites as well as research what the "fanatics" use on their high dollar sports cars etc... you'll find a very high percentage use a product from Germany called
"Klassee". It's a two part sytem and entails work. However, results are second to none. End of story. You'll get plenty of other input I am sure and this is a bit of info I'd suggest you research. You won't regret it.
one thing i was taught a long time ago. do not apply the wax in a circular fashion. when you apply and also buff it off, do it in a line similar to that of how the wind passes over. doing it this way helps to minimize the small scratches that show up so easy on a black (or teal green ) bike
